Resolution HR467has been reintroduced into the US House of Representatives. If passed, it would officially designate February 12, 2014 as “Darwin Day,” recognizing “the importance of science in the betterment of humanity…”
That all sounds pretty great to us. Whether Congress delivers is, of course, another story. Let’s make this happen, Washington. (And maybe see to a few other scientific holidays, while you’re at it.) (full article)
